Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. USA Lacrosse named former Notre Dame player and current U.S. women’s box assistant Crysti Foote as the coach of the U.S. Women’s Sixes team headed to Super Sixes next month.
Foote will lead a roster that will face India, Canada and the Haudenosaunee Nationals in the Sixes competition taking place in Oshawa, Ontario from Oct. 6-8.
2. Sam Thacker is returning to Denver after plenty of conversations with her family, and herself.
Thacker, the reigning IWLCA Defender of the Year, originally decided to forego her fifth year of eligibility at Denver. However, she made a U-turn late in the summer.
