For the first time in the seven-year history of the North American Invitational (LAXNAI), a team comprised mostly of American players has won the championship.
The United States, split into White and Blue teams, had a great showing in Utica, N.Y., with USA White taking home the title after an undefeated two-day run.
The U.S. teams were comprised of players in the tryout process for the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championship, set for 2024 in Utica.

3. Lafayette College is getting a major upgrade.
As part of the school’s campus master planning process, a $10 million upgrade to its athletic facilities has been proposed. The build, which would be done by next spring, includes a turf field, and a 22,000-square-foot field house at the complex.
