1. Delaware and Notre Dame men picked up nonconference victories on Wednesday night.
JP Ward dropped eight points to lead the Blue Hens to a 15-6 win over Mount St. Mary’s, while Chris Kavanagh and Jefferey Ricciardelli each scored five goals to lead Notre Dame past Marquette 21-10.
2. North Carolina and Boston College cruise to blowout wins to stay unbeaten.
The Tar Heels got four goals and three assist from Caitlyn Wurzburger to top Liberty 18-6. Kayla Martello led Boston College with five goals in a 16-6 win over in-state rival UMass.

3. Ryan Brown hangs up the cleats
Brown, the former Johns Hopkins sharpshooter turned U.S. national team gold medalist and PLL champion, announced his retirement from professional lacrosse on Wednesday. Click here for more on his career.
4. Delaware State and Howard’s visit to North Carolina over the weekend is sparking important conversations.
The two Division I women’s HBCU programs made the trip to Chapel Hill to play against one another on ESPN+ last weekend. The coaches of both Delaware State and Howard reflected on the decision to play at North Carolina.
