Dialed In: Your Lacrosse Fix For Thursday, Jan. 12

Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. USA Lacrosse reaches another milestone in the pursuit of Olympic inclusion.

We announced Wednesday that the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee has added USA Lacrosse to its Affiliate Organizations Council, along with five other sport organizations. Those five new members will join the Recognized Sport Organizations category of the AOC.

2. USA Lacrosse Magazine dropped its Division I Men’s and Women’s Preseason Players of the Year on Wednesday.

Syracuse attacker Meaghan Tyrrell won Preseason Player of the Year honors for Division I women, sitting sixth in program history with 308 points, seventh with 202 goals and fifth with 106 assists. Click here for more on the season ahead of the Orange’s biggest threat.

3. The matchups are set for the PLL’s first Championship Series.
