Dialed In: Your Lacrosse Fix for Thursday, Nov. 30
Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Best of Lacrosse is back.
It’s everyone’s favorite time of year — we know it’s because of the holiday season, but work with us here — as voting for Best of Lacrosse 2023 will open on Monday. Every December, our Best of Lacrosse series aims to celebrate the previous year of the sport. Every year, we need your help to make it possible.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 4, you can vote on X (formerly Twitter) to determine winners in 15 #BestOfLax categories. We’ll reveal a new category and new poll every weekday through Friday, Dec. 22. You’ll have 24 hours each day to gather your friends and vote for your favorite player, team, personality and more. The nominees might even get in on the action, too.
Head here to meet the nominees in our 15 categories, and let’s send 2023 off with a bang.
2. Stephen Kelly, a six-year pro lacrosse veteran, has retired.
The Boston Cannons and the Premier Lacrosse League announced that “Bones” Kelly will call it a career after averaging 48 percent on faceoffs since he joined the pro ranks in 2018 with the Chesapeake Bayhawks.
After six seasons, @1Bonesaw24 is retiring from professional lacrosse.
