Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. We’re putting a bow on Fall Classic with a few of the biggest takeaways.

The 2023 USA Lacrosse Fall Classic was met with wet weather but considerable fanfare, and the results on the field spoke volumes.

It was the beginning of a new era for U.S. national teams, with the U.S. senior men fielding an all-new roster following a gold-medal win in San Diego. The U.S. U20 women’s team represents the future of the women’s program, as do the men’s and women’s USA Select teams.

Check out our takeaways here.

2. Ann Elliott Whidden is hoping Colorado becomes a Prime destination.

The presence of Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has brought increased exposure to Colorado athletics, and Elliott Whidden thinks it’s a matter of time before her women’s lacrosse program sees the rewards.

She might even get the former NFL and MLB star out to a practice once football season finishes.
