Dialed In: Your Lacrosse Fix for Tuesday, August 8
Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Athletes Unlimited draft drama.
The final weekend of Athletes Unlimited is shaping up to be Taylor Moreno vs. Sam Apuzzo, round two, with last year’s champion and runner-up in the top two on the leaderboard once again. However, the final weekend already got a little interesting. A technical error switched the captain order, placing Kady Glynn third and Abby Bosco fourth. The draft went on as scheduled until the error was found. Once discovered, the Lacrosse Player Executive Committee voted to redraft, with Bosco selecting third and Glynn going fourth.
See who is teaming up for the last three games of the year.

No one exceeded preseason expectations quite like the Pios. Slotted 10th in the preseason rankings, Denver danced all the way to the Final Four. Its lauded zone defense will go down in history as one of the sport’s best. Relive the 2023 Denver season.
3. A last look at Penn State’s 2023 season.
Penn State’s season ended with a controversial overtime goal in the Final Four. But it’s not what sticks out to Patrick Stevens. Here’s what is.
