Dialed In: Your Lacrosse Fix for Tuesday, December 5
Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Alabama QB Tyler Buchner wants to get back into lacrosse.
Alabama upended No. 1 Georgia and is on its way to the College Football Playoff. But Tyler Buchner’s long-term future apparently includes lacrosse. Buchner, who transferred to ‘Bama after spending 2021-22 at Notre Dame, is back in the portal, and Inside Lacrosse CEO Terry Foy said he will find his way back to the Irish. He had initially committed to Michigan for lacrosse in 2017.
2. What was the best game of 2023? You decide.
You still have a couple more hours to vote for the Best Game of 2023. Is it the Albany women’s epic second-half rally to beat Virginia in the second round of the NCAA Tournament? How about Denver’s defensive stand against defending champion UNC? Notre Dame’s triple-OT win over Maryland in March was part of a history-making season for the Irish. And Tom Schreiber’s title-winning goal for the Archers only continued his legacy. Like these games, this Best of Lacrosse Poll is coming down to the wire. Make your vote count.
