1. LA28 Organizing Committee recommends lacrosse.
The above-the-fold section of Dialed In usually has multiple stories. Today, it has just one — but an important one.
A years-long effort to help lacrosse return to the Olympics took an important step yesterday when the LA28 Organizing Committee announced its recommendation to be added to the 2028 Summer Olympic program. The Games will be held on U.S. soil in Los Angeles. Final approval requires a vote from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), slated for Oct. 15-17 in Mumbai, India. More information on the significant development.
UNC Athletics celebrated alums Taylor Moreno and Ally Mastroianni, who struck gold at Super Sixes.
