Manhasset (N.Y.) took down Darien (Conn.) in a top-five showdown and Glenelg (Md.) broke through to beat a private school powerhouse in Bishop Ireton (Va.), both results creating significant movement in the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Girls' National Top 25.

Manhasset is the new No. 1 in the Northeast after its big win and moves into the No. 2 spot nationally behind McDonogh (Md.), which preserved its epic winning streak (now 195 games) by eking out an 11-10 overtime win over Notre Dame Prep (Md.). Pittsford (N.Y.), Darien (Conn.) and American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) round out the new top five.

Glenelg made the biggest leap, from No. 23 to No. 12, following its 13-6 victory over Bishop Ireton on April 23. The Gladiators have won eight straight games overall.

Further down the chart, previously unranked Springfield-Delco (Pa.) and Eastport-South Manor (N.Y.) join the mix at No. 22 and No. 25, respectively.

The Indians eked out a 13-12 victory over previously top-ranked Darien (Conn.) during a challenging week and have now won 10 straight games after a season-opening loss. Kelly Trotta scored with 30 seconds left off a feed off Casey Roszko to lift the Indians past Darien. Pittsford cruised to a 17-0 win over Churchville-Chili (N.Y.) last week to remain unbeaten. Ellie Mooney finished with six goals and two assists, and Sarah Stark added one goal and three assists for the Panthers, who were set to play Honeoye Falls-Lima (N.Y.) on Monday. Previous: 3

3. Darien (Conn.), 10-1

The Blue Wave suffered their first loss to Manhasset in between a pair of wins last week over Stamford (Conn.), 17-0, and New Canaan (Conn.), 13-6. Ashley Humphrey finished with six goals and one assist in the Manhasset loss. Previous: 1

4. Garden City (N.Y.), 9-4

The Trojans went 2-1 last week, opening with wins over Long Beach (N.Y.) and Farmingdale (N.Y.) before falling 10-3 to Manhasset. Jenn Medjid tallied five goals and an assist in the Farmingdale win. Previous: 4

5. Fayetteville-Manlius (N.Y.), 10-0

The Hornets posted a 15-13 win over Christian Brothers Academy (N.Y.) and a 10-9 win over West Genesee (N.Y.) last week. Amanda Cramer finished with three goals and two assists in the West Genny win. Katie Shanley had six assists in the CBA win. Previous: 8

The Mustangs bounced back from their first loss of the season with three wins in the last week. Mount Sinai cruised past Comsewogue (N.Y.) and Sayville (N.Y.) and then secured a 10-8 win over Eastport-South Manor (N.Y.) on Monday. 8. Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.), 9-2

Grace Tauckus scored her fourth goal of the game on a free-position shot with 10.1 seconds left to lift CSH to a 13-12 win over St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), and then Tauckus also had the game winner as the Seahawks topped Massapequa (N.Y.), 8-7, last week. The Friars went 1-1 over the last week, dropping a 13-12 decision to Cold Spring Harbor and earning a 17-7 win over Syosset (N.Y.). Eight different players scored in the Syosset win. Previous: 5

1. McDonogh (Md.), 18-0

The undefeated Eagles clinched the No. 1 seed in the IAAM playoffs with an 11-6 win over Glenelg Country (Md.) last week, as six players scored two goals each. The victory was McDonogh’s 194th straight win. McDonogh had a little more trouble getting No. 195 on Monday, eking out an 11-10 overtime win over Notre Dame Prep (Md.) to conclude the regular season. 2. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.), 19-2

The Saints defeated rival Good Counsel (Md.) 14-9 and then added a 17-8 win over Langley (Va.) on Monday. The defense has been outstanding this season, holding opponents to less than 10 goals in all but three games. SSSA plays Holy Child (Md.) on Tuesday. Previous: 3

3. Notre Dame Prep (Md.), 13-4

Going into Monday’s game against McDonogh, the Blazers had won eight straight to put themselves in position for the No. 2 seed for the IAAM playoffs. They have used defense to surge, holding their last six opponents to seven goals or less. Previous: 5

4. Georgetown Visitation (D.C.), 12-2

The Tigers defeated Good Counsel, 14-13, and Holy Child, 15-9, last week. Games against Stone Ridge (Md.) and Episcopal (Va.) will cap off the regular, and conference, season this week. Previous 6

5. Glenelg (Md.), 10-2

The Gladiators finally got the better of a private-school program this season. After dropping close games to Notre Dame Prep and St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes earlier in the year, Glenelg defeated Bishop Ireton (Va.) 13-6 on April 23. Rachel Scheinberg scored a career-high six goals in the victory. Glenelg then added a 15-1 victory at Reservoir (Md.) to extend its winning streak to eight games. Previous: NR

6. Bishop Ireton (Va.), 15-3

The Cardinals were stunned by Glenelg last week, but they rebounded with wins against Bishop O’Connell (D.C.) and Holy Cross (Md.) to complete the regular season. The WCAC playoffs start Tuesday and the VISAA playoffs start Thursday, both of which the Cardinals are defending champs. Previous: 2  

7. Moorestown (N.J.), 11-2

The Quakers scored 18 goals in each of their last three wins while the defense held those opponents to a combined seven goals. Kayla Frank, Avery Jaffee and Ashley Nutt all scored five points in a win over Ocean City (N.J.). Previous: 8

8. Ridgewood (N.J.), 10-3

The Maroons played half their games last week against out-of-state teams, dropping one against Eastport-South Manor (N.Y.) and winning the other against Daniel Hand (Conn.). They added wins over Saddle River Day School (N.J.) and Rampao (N.J.) to extend their in-state win streak to eight games. Previous: 4

9. Glenelg Country (Md.), 11-4

The Dragons kept close to McDonogh, holding the Eagles to one of their lowest scoring totals of the year in an 11-6 decision last week. Shay Ahearn and Lindsey Marshall each scored two goals in the loss. Glenelg Country’s regular season then came to a close Monday with a 13-12 win at Bryn Mawr (Md.). Previous: 9

The Cougars vie to be the No. 1 team in Pennsylvania after a loss by Garnet Valley (Pa.) over the weekend. Dana Carlson scored three goals in an 8-6 win over Radnor (Pa.) on Tuesday, then scored the 100th goal of her career in a five-goal performance against Lower Merion (Pa.) on Thursday. Previous: NR

1. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 20-1

The Stallions had no troubles beating Park Vista in the Florida High School Athletic Association regional quarterfinals, winning 17-1. They also made it look easy beating Pine Crest, 21-4, on Monday in a semifinal. Regional championship games are Thursday. Previous: 1

2. Hutchison (Tenn.), 15-0

The Sting finished a perfect regular season, squeezing past Ensworth in a thrilling 6-5 double overtime win. Hutchison trailed 4-2 at the half and 5-2 with 16 minutes left before rallying. Elizabeth Farnsworth scored four goals, including the game-winner with an assist from Jordan Groover. Groover tied the game with six minutes left in regulation. Senior goalie Lola Duff came up big with 18 saves. Tennessee Girls Lacrosse Association playoffs begin Friday. Previous: 2

3. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 18-1

The Raiders beat Cypress Bay 19-0 in an FHSAA regional quarterfinal. Ellie Riegner led the Raiders with three goals and five assists, Kaitlyn Michaud and Jada Preston each had four goals and three assists and Carly Steinlauf finished with two goals and two assists. St. Thomas won a regional semifinal Monday against Ransom Everglades, 19-2, to set up a rematch with American Heritage in the regional championship Thursday. 4. Milton (Ga.), 13-5

The Eagles capped the regular season with two in-state wins, beating No. 10 Cambridge 15-4 and Lambert 17-4. Haley Monette had nine saves in the win over Cambridge, and Briana Carrasquillo had four goals, an assist, a caused turnover and eight draw controls. Erin Degnan and Allie Peebles each tallied three goals and an assist in the win over Lambert. The Eagles play Sequoyah in a first-round Georgia High School Association 6A-7A playoff game on Thursday. 5. Lassiter (Ga.), 14-2

The Trojans finished off the regular season last week, beating Roswell (Ga.) 18-5 and Pope (Ga.) 16-3. Sydney McClure led with four goals and an assist in the win over Pope. Lassiter plays Evans in a first-round GHSA 6A-7A playoff game on Thursday. Previous: 5  

6. Vero Beach (Fla.), 18-4

The Fighting Indians started the FHSAA playoffs with an 18-1 win over county rival Sebastian River. They then moved on to beat Benjamin, 15-6, on Monday in a regional semifinal. Vero beat Benjamin 16-11 in the first game of the season. Regional championship games are Thursday. Previous: 6

7. Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.), 13-4

The Crusaders finished the regular season with a 19-3 win over Enloe (N.C.). Twelve players scored, led by Elizabeth Wilson and Bailey Mutch with three goals each. Caroline Kimel had seven assists and nine total points. Gibbons has a first-round bye in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state playoffs and will play a second-round game Friday. 8. Eastern (Ky.), 17-2

The Eagles went 2-1 in another busy week. They started off with a 17-3 win over Christian Academy (Ky.) and then suffered their second loss, losing 10-7 to Kentucky Country Day. They rebounded with a 15-5 win over Ravenwood (Tenn.). The Eagles wrap up the regular season on Wednesday. Previous: 8  

9. Weddington (N.C.), 13-0

The Warriors finished off a perfect season with a 15-7 win over Charlotte Catholic (N.C.) to join the rankings. They have a first-round bye in the NCHSAA playoffs. Weddington will play a second-round game Friday. Previous: NR

The Bears finished the regular season with a 15-4 loss to No. 4 Milton. They begin GHSA 6A-7A tournament play on Thursday against Harrison (9-6). Previous: 9

1. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 10-3

The Ramblers, without starters Annabelle Burke and Lauryn Repp, rallied from an early two-goal deficit to defeat in-state rival New Trier 18-6 on April 25. Three days later, Loyola had a convincing 19-5 win over Cathedral (Ind.). Riley Dolan had back-to-back four-goal games, and freshmen Maley Starr and Ellie Lazzaretto each netted hat tricks against New Trier. Previous: 2

2. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 14-0

The Golden Bears hold one of the nation’s longest winning streaks at 31 games after blowout wins last week over Hilliard Davidson (Ohio), Gahanna Lincoln (Ohio), Everest Academy (Ontario), IMG Academy (Fla.) and Chagrin Falls (Ohio). Brenna Smith led the way with three hat tricks last week. Upper Arlington has a match this week against unbeaten crosstown rival New Albany. Previous: 1

3. New Trier (Ill.), 10-3

Despite a pair of early goals by Courtney Kaskey, the Trevians were no match for Loyola in an 18-6 loss on April 25. New Trier responded to the loss with a 16-6 win at Evanson (Ill.) two days later. Previous: 3

4. Rockford (Mich.), 6-2

The Rams responded to a pair of early-season losses with four wins last week, defeating previously unbeaten East Grand Rapids (Mich.), followed by victories against Caledonia (Mich.), Lyons Township (Ill.) and Cranbrook Kingswood (Mich.). Mekenzie VanderMolen scored a total of 16 goals over four games, including seven tallies against East Grand Rapids (Mich.). Previous: 4\

5. Eden Prairie (Minn.), 5-0

Led by attacker Brooke Lewis, the Eagles defeated Edina (Minn.) 18-5 on April 24, and, two days later, Wayzata (Minn.), 14-4. Lewis had four goals and six assists against Edina and then scored six times and added four helpers against Wayzata. Previous: 5

6. New Albany (Ohio), 14-0

The Eagles went 3-0 last week after defeating Westerville Central (Ohio), 19-1, Westerville South (Ohio), 19-0 and Hudson (Ohio), 8-3. They have a big contest ahead against crosstown rival Upper Arlington (Ohio). Previous: 9

The Eagles continued overwhelming opponents last week, defeating Midland-H.H. Dow (Mich.), 22-4, and Lake Orion (Mich.), 16-4. Hartland hosts Novi (Mich.) on Wednesday. Previous: 6

The Irish started off last week on a positive note, defeating Guerin Catholic (Ind.) 21-3, and Fishers (Ind.) 22-2, but ended on a sour note with a 19-5 loss against Loyola Academy (Ill.). Katherine Burnside had another impressive week, scoring a combined 14 goals with eight assists. Previous: 7

After defeating Noblesville (Ind.) 17-6 on Thursday, the Greyhounds lost a heartbreaker to Kentucky Country Day (Ky.) 13-12 on Friday. 1. Novato (Calif.), 18-1

The Hornets won four straight road games last week to wrap up the regular season. DJ Wilmott tallied six goals and four assists in a 22-7 win over Marin Catholic (Calif.) to open the week, and Jamie Level also had six goals. San Ramon Valley (Calif.) gave Novato its closest game against an in-state opponent this season and that was in an 18-8 loss Saturday in the finale. Previous: 1 

2. Colorado Academy (Colo.), 12-0

Lauren Russell had four goals, Sloane Murphy added three scores, Ella Marks registered 10 saves in goal and the Mustangs collected a 10-6 win over Denver East (Colo.) in their toughest in-state game so far on Friday. Colorado Academy also beat Conifer (Colo.) 19-2 last week. Three games are on the slate this week, including one against Centaurus that was set to be played Monday. Previous: 2  

3. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 13-0

The Bruins continue to climb after adding easy wins over Grandview (Colo.) and Smoky Hill (Colo.) last week to remain unbeaten. Hali Sibilia had six goals and three assists in a 20-8 win over Grandview, and she led with five goals and five assists in a 21-1 win over Smoky Hill. Cherry Creek finishes the regular season with two road games at Kent Denver (Colo.) and Eaglecrest (Colo.) this week. Previous: 4 

4. Bainbridge Island (Wash.), 11-0

Ten days after handing Mercer Island (Wash.) its first loss, the Spartans did the same to then-No. 3 Lake Oswego (Ore.), beating the Lakers 13-12 on Saturday. Bainbridge was coming off an 18-3 win over Everett (Wash.), a game in which Mackenzie Chapman tallied six goals and two assists and Maggie Sweeney added three goals and six assists. Previous: 9 

5. Lake Oswego (Ore.), 14-1

The Lakers saw their 25-game win streak dating back to last season come to an end Saturday with a 13-12 loss to Bainbridge Island (Wash.). Katy Gilbert led with four goals, while Rylee Sutherland added a hat trick in the loss. Lake Oswego had opened the week with a 10-5 win over rival West Linn (Ore.) and added an 11-7 victory over Oregon City (Ore.). Previous: 3

6. Torrey Pines (Calif.), 16-2

The Falcons avenged an early-season loss to La Costa Canyon (Calif.), this time flipping the score around for a 10-5 win. LCC had accounted for their only in-state loss. The victory all but wraps up the Avocado West League title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CIF San Diego Open Division Playoffs for the Falcons, who came in ranked No. 2 in the section behind LCC. Kelli McKinnon led with three goals, and Arielle Shahrabani and Addie Stewart each added two. Torrey Pines was scheduled to play Sage Creek (Calif.) on Monday. Previous: 6

7. La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 15-3

The Mavericks have lost two in a row heading into the last week of the regular season, coupling a 12-11 loss to Scripps Ranch (Calif.) with the 10-5 loss to Torrey Pines. LCC was scheduled to play at Canyon Crest (Calif.) on Monday and has a chance to regain some confidence with a test against three-loss La Jolla (Calif.) in the finale Tuesday. Previous: 5

8. St. Margaret’s (Calif.), 13-1

The Tartans closed the regular season with a 12-5 win over Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) on April 25, as Niki Miles scored a game-high five goals to lead the way. St. Margaret’s earned the top seed in the Southern Section Orange County championships and plays host to No. 16-seeded Corona del Mar (Calif.) in a first-round game Tuesday. Previous: 7

9. Oak Ridge (Calif.), 16-1

The Trojans closed the regular season with 16 straight wins, including a 13-10 victory at Granite Bay (Calif.) and 23-0 shutout against Rio Americano (Calif.) last week. They were up just 6-5 at halftime against Granite Bay. Oak Ridge plays St. Francis (Calif.) in the Sacramento Valley League tournament Tuesday and seeding for the North Coast Section playoffs is set for Saturday. Previous: 8

The Vikings are on a six-game winning streak since falling to Torrey Pines on April 12, including avenging an early loss to Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) and then collecting three victories last week to jump back into the rankings.  La Jolla closes the regular season on the road against La Costa Canyon on Tuesday.
