The Premier Lacrosse League’s inaugural season will culminate in a championship game Sept. 21 at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa., just outside of Philadelphia, the league announced Wednesday.
The PLL is partnering with Keystone Sports and Entertainment on the event, which will also include a consolation game to determine the order of the 2020 PLL college draft. The championship game will air on NBC’s flagship channel.
The league’s announcement of the championship site — which came the morning after its inaugural college draft aired on NBC Sports — means the much-anticipated year-one schedule is set. The 10 regular-season events each will feature three games, with all six PLL teams in competition.
