Archers grabbed the No. 1 pick in this year’s PLL draft thanks to the luck of the draw. They’ll have the No. 1 pick next year thanks to the will power of Will Manny.

Manny set PLL single-game records for goals (7) and points (11), and Archers as a team set the league’s single-season scoring record in an explosive 25-7 win over Atlas in the consolation playoff final Saturday at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa.

The prize? Top dibs in the 2020 draft. With the expectation that 2019 first-round and No. 1 overall selection Pat Spencer will join the PLL next summer after playing basketball as a post-grad at Northwestern, Archers appears poised to reload.
