Nine Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association squads hit the DE Turf Complex in Frederica, Md., over the weekend for the Battle at the Beach. In Saturday's games, Liberty edged Michigan State 9-8, Virginia Tech beat Northeastern 11-6, East Carolina nipped Purdue 12-11 and Connecticut beat Pitt 12-2.
