Tied at 15 after allowing Lynchburg to score consecutive goals that tied the score, Cabrini had to avoid a letdown. 

Kevin Leyden assisted Kohl Wesner with 2:58 remaining to take a one-goal lead, then Mike Gerzabek found Ty Kostack two minutes later for a 17-15 lead that would prove to be the final score, as Cabrini improved to 2-0 on the young season.
