Nothing came easy in a defensive battle at Lehigh, but Hofstra scored three times in the final quarter to prevail over the Mountain Hawks 4-3 on Matt Elder's goal with 1:42 remaining in the contest. Hofstra goalie Robert Casey made 14 saves in his first start, earning the win over Lehigh goalie James Spence, who also had a spectacular effort with 16 saves.
