First-year head coach Kim Hillier kept Drexel's momentum rolling with a 12-8 victory over Penn State on Wednesday afternoon in Philadelphia. The Dragons, coming off of their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2021, improved to 2-0 with the victory. Drexel never trailed in the contest, but the Nittany Lions pulled to within one goal midway through the final quarter before the Dragons scored the game's final three goals. Karson Harris and Hayleigh Simpson each scored three goals for Drexel, which got 11 saves from Zoe Bennett in goal. Mary Muldoon led Penn State with three goals.
