Chris Gray scored six goals, including the game-winner with 1:19 to play as North Carolina outscored Denver 17-16 in a thriller on Saturday in Chapel Hill. Denver scored five straight fourth-quarter goals to take a 16-14 lead, but the Tar Heels scored the final three goals, the last two by Gray to rally for the win. Gray also added two assists for an eight-point day and had plenty of help on the offensive end. Henry Schertziner, Nicky Solomon and Lance Tillman all scored five points for North Carolina. JJ Sillstrop had a team-high six points (3g, 3a) for Denver while Jack Hannah and Alex Simmons each added hat tricks.
