After missing the entire 2021 season due to COVID-19, Swarthmore's men's lacrosse team has made a triumphant return to the field in 2022 and is off to a 2-0 start after beating Eastern 12-9 in a Pennsylvania Division III game on Wednesday. Eastern jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but Swarthmore rallied behind four goals from Von Mabbs and three goals from Jackson Brosgol. Carter Strauch had the assist on the final three goals of the game for Swarthmore, all coming in the fourth quarter as the Garnet broke a 9-9 tie. Nicholas Fanelli scored five times for Eastern.
