Syracuse got back in the winning side of the ledger, outscoring longtime rival Hobart 18-16 to retain the Kraus-Simmons Trophy. Syracuse scored three goals in the final three minutes of the first half to break a 7-7 tie and never trailed again. Brendan Curry and Tucker Dordevic each scored five goals as Syracuse broke a three-game losing streak. Jakob Phaup won 25 of 38 faceoffs for the Orange. John Herlihy led Hobart with four goals and Derek Madonna and Tommy Mott each had hat tricks.
