The U.S. women's U19 team played an exhibition game on Saturday night against a collection of Women's Professional Lacrosse League players and local college players as its gets ready for the 2019 World Lacrosse championship in Canada this August. Caitlyn Wurzburger led the U.S. team with six points (3g, 3a), Izzy Scane had a goal and four assists and Megan Carney and Michaela McMahon each scored twice. Greta Stahl had a team-high six draw controls for the U.S. with Brianne Gross adding four.
U.S. goalies Madison Doucette, Rachel Hall and Kimber Hower rotated in goal for both teams, combining to make 13 saves, led by Doucette with seven. Ally Carey, Steph Lazo, Hannah Nielsen and Amanda Johansen all had multiple goal efforts for the WPLL team.
