LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today that is has named Brian Silcott the Head of Player Experience.
Silcott has a deep lacrosse background, having played and coached for over 40 years. At Nazareth College, Silcott was a two-time All-American and won a national championship before going on to play 11 seasons as a pro. After his playing career, Silcott served as the National Men’s Game Director for US Lacrosse, and is currently the Director of Operations for Jamaica Lacrosse in addition to coaching in Northern California.
“Watching the PLL team operate over the past two years has left me nothing but impressed,” Silcott said. “Being offered an opportunity to join and contribute to this team is quite literally a dream come true. Mike, Paul, and the rest of the PLL crew are taking the sport of lacrosse to new heights and I look forward to doing my part to ensure their success.”
Silcott will report to Robert Sanzillo, the SVP of Lacrosse Operations, and will oversee player resourcing, activation, troubleshooting and support, education, and direct communications.
“Hiring Brian is a direct investment in our players and a major step in improving our athlete’s overall experience,” Sanzillo said. “Brian brings a unique perspective having served as a player, a coach, a team executive and a US Lacrosse Board member.
