On Tuesday morning, the Premier Lacrosse League released a bevy of information regarding the upcoming window of player movement and drafts in the lead up to the 2021 season.
The waiver wire and trade window open Tuesday, Feb. 9. Protected rosters are due Feb. 28, the same day the waiver wire closes.
The big-ticket offseason programs kick off March 11 with the Expansion Draft, a highly anticipated moment in professional outdoor lacrosse history. With Cannons LC now in the fold as a result of the Major League Lacrosse merger, this represents the first major moment in the unified front of pro men's lacrosse.
The Entry Draft will then take place on March 25, allowing first-time PLL entrants and former MLL players to possibly find homes in the league. Then, the College Draft wraps up a busy month on April 6.
