Premier Lacrosse League

Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The PLL Championship Series is headed back to the Washington, D.C. area.

The league will host the second Sixes-style event at The St. James from Feb. 14-19. The top four finishers from the 2023 season (Archers, Cannons, Redwoods, Waterdogs) will compete for the crown. Click here for more.

2. The NCAA denied an appeal for former Stanford linebacker and Virginia midfielder Ricky Miezan to play another year in Charlottesville.

Miezan broke the news to Virginia fans on his Instagram. The former Stanford captain played 15 games for the Cavaliers in 2023, scoring seven goals and adding two assists. Click here for more.

3. Jackie Neary’s legacy lives beyond Cabrini.

Neary, the program’s first and last head coach, reflected on her almost 30 years of coaching at Cabrini after Villanova announced it would acquire the Pennsylvania school.
