The NCAA tournament bracket, announced on Sunday, will feature the top 11 teams in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II Women’s Top 20 and 15 ranked teams overall, with first-round games scheduled for Friday.

No. 1 Queens and No. 3 Regis are the nation’s only remaining undefeated teams. Queens was awarded the No. 1 seed in the South Region and will host the four-team regional. The Royals face No. 15 Tampa, the region’s fourth seed, in the first round.

The other top seeds in the 16-team NCAA bracket are No. 4 East Stroudsburg in the Atlantic Region, No. 7 Stonehill in the East Region and No. 2 UIndy in the Midwest Region.

The four regional champions from this week’s games will advance to the national semifinals on May 20 in St. Charles, Missouri, with the championship game slated for Sunday, May 22.

Mercy (+3)

Powered by a career-high eight points from senior Juliana Keenan, the Mavericks defeated Roberts Wesleyan 19-12 on Sunday to capture their second East Coast Conference championship in the last three years. Mercy carries an eight-game winning streak into this week’s NCAA tournament opener against No. 7 Stonehill.

Stonehill (+1)

The Skykawks rallied from a four-goal first half deficit to register a 13-12 overtime win over No. 10 Le Moyne in the NE10 final, claiming the program’s 10th conference championship on Sunday afternoon. Junior Abigail Moynihan scored the game-winning goal as Stonehill extended its winning streak to 11 games. The Skyhawks earned the top seed in the NCAA Tournament’s East Region and host No. 13 Mercy on Friday.

Regis (no change)

The Rangers earned their third straight RMAC tournament title with a 15-8 win over Colorado Mesa in Sunday’s championship game, led by six goals from Kyleigh Peoples and four from Alexis Parker. Regis earned its fifth NCAA tournament bid and begins play against No. 6 Grand Valley State on Friday.

Adelphi (-2)

The Panthers fell victim to arch-rival Le Moyne in the semifinals of the NE10 tournament, allowing the game-tying goal with seven seconds remaining and losing in overtime, 9-8. The two teams meet again Friday in the first round of the NCAA tournament, the third match-up this year with each team having won once.
