Undefeated Reinhardt (Ga.) edged Indiana Tech for the No. 1 spot in this week’s NAIA men’s lacrosse coaches poll — just in time for the two teams to meet Wednesday in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown.
Columbia (Mo.), Keiser (Fla.) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.) round out the top five of the poll, which also features four new entries in Madonna (Mich.), Tennessee Wesleyan, Siena Heights (Mich.) and Ottawa (Kan.).
Methodology
-
The rating committee is comprised of eight raters — two raters per conference/group.
-
Each conference/group produces a conference rating from which raters will use to compile their national ballot. Only teams represented on the conference rating are eligible for the national ballot.
-
Each rater submits a top-15 ballot, which is used to produce the top-10 national rating and a list of other teams receiving votes.
