The Nike/US Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25 could look very different a week from now than it does today. And it won’t take long to find out how.
The MIAA semifinals today will feature rematches between four teams ranked in the top six — No. 3 McDonogh (Md.) vs. No. 6 Boys’ Latin (Md.) and No. 4 Calvert Hall (Md.) vs. No. 5 Loyola Blakefield (Md.).
No. 8 St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), meanwhile, will face Chaminade (N.Y.) again in the CHSAA championship game today.
Even at the top, No. 1 Culver Academy (Ind.) could be on a collision course for another encounter with The Hill Academy (Ontario), the Canadian powerhouse that the Eagles narrowly defeated in triple overtime on April 22. Both teams are in the Philadelphia area for the National Prep Championship.
