Lacrosse has seen its fair share of family lines over the last few decades — from the Gait and Powell brothers to the Stanwick dynasty of the early 2000s. Siblings playing college lacrosse is not a new sensation, with some even playing within the same programs.

But the Schneidereith sisters have managed to make college sports history during the 2021 season. They are believed to be the first full set of quadruplets to play a collegiate sport — and they each chose the same one.

Georgia, Lucy, Jamie and Maggie grew up in the Baltimore suburbs dreaming of playing college lacrosse, and they’re still living out those visions as fifth-year players this spring. Georgia serves as a graduate goalie at Albany, Jamie and Lucy are senior midfielders at Drexel, and Maggie is a graduate attacker at Johns Hopkins.

Thursday, the Schneidereith sisters made podcast history, becoming the first set of quadruplets to appear on a US Lacrosse Magazine podcast. Host Sheehan Stanwick Burch, one of eight siblings to play college lacrosse, sat down with the four sisters on the latest episode of “The Stick Drop.”

In the episode, the Schneidereith sisters share stories of growing up in the same household, the complicating recruiting process and what it’s like to be apart during their college careers.
