Caitlin McElwee led with four goals and one assist, and Kendall Steer, Christina Gagnon and Josie Hahn all had three goals apiece. Steer, Gagnon and Natalie Shurtleff contributed two assists apiece. Leah Warehime made nine saves, including some huge early saves on a pair of free-position shots.
McDonogh (Md.) still rose in the Top 25, re-entering the Top 10.

Top-seeded St. Paul’s scored 10 of the game’s final 11 goals to pull away for a 17-8 win over second-seeded McDonogh in the IAAM-A Conference championship game on Saturday, giving the Gators their first title since 2006. Annabel Frist scored five goals, added two assists and won 13 draw controls to lead the Saints to a 20-11 win over Connelly School of the Holy Child (Va.) on Wednesday. Lane Lambeth had four goals and two assists, Cate Bradley scored three goals to go with two assists and Brooke Kurtz found the back of the net twice and had a team-high five assists. On Saturday, Bradley’s game-high seven points led SSSA to a 20-9 win over St. Anne’s-Belfield School (Va.), as she finished with four goals and three assists. Mira Majure scored four goals and added two assists, and Frist notched five goals to go with one assist and eight draw controls. Conestoga wrapped up a Central League title with an 11-0 record after stopping Harriton (Pa.) 18-2 on May 11. Kate Galica and Anna DeVuono each had four goals, Rachel Clark and Megan Marengo both scored three goals and had one assist apiece, and Keating Hopkins contributed two goals and had one assist. The Eagles rallied from a 5-1 deficit to tie St. Paul’s 6-6 going into halftime, but they couldn’t keep the momentum going as the Gators pulled away for a 17-8 win. Kori Edmondson had a game-high five goals, including three straight that drew the Eagles even in the first half. In the semifinals on May 11, the Eagles edged Notre Dame Prep 8-7. Edmondson fired in four goals, and Kemper Robinson and Dakota Uy scored two goals apiece. The Royals handed then-No. 2 Moorestown (N.J.) its first loss of the season 15-8 on May 10. Oak Knoll held an early lead only to see Moorestown tie the score at 8 before the Royals scored the next seven goals to break loose. Colleen Quinn led the scoring with five goals and one assist, Annika Spoor had three goals and two assists, Devon Gogerty contributed a hat trick and one assist, Sara Rogers scored twice and assisted once and Annie Burton had a pair of goals. The Royals then won their ninth straight game, a 17-7 win over Lawrenceville (N.J.), on May 11 to capture the New Jersey prep school championship. The Quakers pulled even at 8 in their showdown against then-No. 9 Oak Knoll before surrendering the final seven goals of the game in a 15-8 loss on May 10. It was Moorestown’s first loss of the season and lowest scoring output of the year. Katie Buck had four goals and eight draw controls, Dylan Silar and Margaret Lawler added two goals apiece and Silar notched one assist. Moorestown rebounded to stop West Deptford (N.J.) 19-6 on Wednesday behind a game-high seven points from Emma Dengler on five goals and two assists, and the Quakers got three goals and three assists from Emma Greer. Led by a dozen Division I-bound players, Good Counsel has outscored opponents 119-37 through its first six games. The Falcons led Bishop Ireton (Va.) 8-1 early on their way to a 17-11 win, their most impressive victory heading into a significant challenge against Stone Ridge on Tuesday. Penn Charter wrapped up the top seed for the Inter-Ac playoffs with a 14-6 win over Germantown Academy (Pa.) on Friday. Darcy Felter gave a balanced effort with three goals and three assists, and Charlotte Hodgson and Kaylee Dyer each had two goals and one assist. Bea Buckley and Alex Glomb scored two goals apiece. Penn Charter also took a 15-2 win over Mount St. Joseph (Pa.) on Thursday. Maddie Shoup was tops in points with three goals and two assists to go with one caused turnover, two ground balls and one draw control. Mia Ferraro and Lane Murray each had hat tricks, and Grace Walter scored two goals. Kayla Joyce made five saves and Jamie Kubach had four saves. The Eagles concluded the 2021 campaign with their fourth straight state title, beating West Forsyth (Ga.) 13-8 on Saturday in the final. The Eagles, who have now won 14 of the last 16 championships awarded, advanced to the finals by topping Walton (Ga.) 17-3 on May 11. USC recruit Maddie Dora had 20 goals and 12 assists during the four-game playoff run. Brie Catts, Skylar Carrasquillo and Haly Hawks all contributed hat tricks in the state final, while Tori Mellinger stopped 10 shots. Previous: 1
2. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 16-1
The Stallions defeated Lake Highland Prep (Fla.) 13-11 to capture an FHSAA Class 1A championship on May 8. American Heritage-Delray finished the season on an 11-game winning streak. Freshman Brooke Goldstein had a team-leading 52 goals, while junior Casey Roberts led with 32 assists. American Heritage-Delray’s only loss was a regular-season defeat against Lake Highland Prep. The Highlanders bid for a perfect season and state title came to a close on May 8 by losing to American-Heritage Delray 13-11 in the championship game. 4. East Chapel Hill (N.C), 16-2
The Wildcats won a state championship after they pulled off a pair of stunning upsets, first defeating Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) 19-12 on March 22 in the state quarterfinals, then defeating Weddington (N.C.) 14-8 on March 27. 5. Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.), 13-1
Following a perfect regular season, the Crusaders were upset in the state quarterfinals on March 22 against East Chapel Hill. Harvard recruit Caroline Mullahy racked up 40 goals and 77 assists in just 14 games. Sophomore Gracie Mullahy tallied 36 goals and 28 assists. Previous: 5
6. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 13-1
The Raiders won the FHSAA Class 2A state title by defeating Vero Beach (Fla.) 17-9 on May 8. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) only had one loss, to Class 1A runner up Lake Highland Prep (Fla.). Navy recruit Ava Yovino led the team in both goals (45) and assists (28) to go along with a team-leading 49 ground balls and 21 draws. The Warriors came one game short of winning a state title, losing 14-8 to East Chapel Hill on March 27. Senior Jordyn Case (Stanford) scored 82 goals and added 53 assists to close out her stellar high school career. Virginia Tech recruit Kendal Williams added 70 goals to complete her senior season. The Admirals concluded a perfect season with a 14-12 win over Ravenwood (Tenn.) in the state championship game Sunday. Sophomore Aliya Polisky led Franklin with six goals, while senior Josie Ward scored five times to give her 110 goals for the season. Franklin advanced to the championship game by defeating Seymore (Tenn.) 20-4. Ward scored seven times while Gracie McCoy had five goals. Previous: 9

1. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 12-0
The Ramblers followed a brilliant set of wins over two of the top teams in Michigan with a 3-0 week back in the Land of Lincoln, including a 15-7 victory over previously undefeated Hinsdale Central and a 12-10 comeback win over New Trier. Ellie Lazzaretto was brilliant once again with seven goals against the Red Devils, five goals and five draw controls against the Trevians and five more goals against St. Viator on Saturday. 2. New Trier (Ill.), 12-2
The Trevians dropped their second game of the season Thursday, falling 12-10 to the top team in the region in Loyola Academy. Aside from their two losses to the Ramblers, the Trevians have been dominant, including beating Glenbrook South (Ill.) and Evanston (Ill.) on the road this past week by double-digit margins. 3. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 17-0
After a first-round bye (and a full week without games), the Golden Bears begin their OHSAA tournament run at home against 14th-seeded Centerville. Upper Arlington is wonderfully balanced with no player scoring more than 50 goals through 17 games but six scoring between 25 and 50 goals in Camryn Callaghan (46), Rian Adkins (34), Kampbell Stone (33), Clara Gallapoo (32), Ava Walters (29) and Lilly Stelzer (27). A 9-3 run in the first half was enough to lead the Hornets past a tough Minnetonka (Minn.) squad May 11. Twelve different players scored in the Millers’ playoff opener, a 19-0 win over Fishers (Ind.), led by Emma Potter’s three goals, three assists, five draw controls and five ground balls. Chloe Barnett and Rheagan Haney tacked on hat tricks, and Mallory Miller recording six ground balls and four forced turnovers. Potter set single-season records for goals and ground balls in the win. Tighter defense in the second half, led by Sophia Fadler and Dana Brown helped hold Agoura to two goals the rest of the way.
