The Stony Brook women’s lacrosse team rebounded from an upset loss at Denver last week with a 14-8 win at Towson on Friday.
Ally Kennedy scored four goals, Jesse Arline had four assists and Nicole Barretta added three goals for the No. 10 Seawolves, who took advantage of a reeling Tigers team that dropped its fourth straight game to start the season—although all four losses have come against nationally ranked roes.
With the game tied at 3 midway through the first half, Stony Brook (2-1) broke off a 7-1 run and was never seriously threatened after that. Towson committed 20 turnovers, 10 in each half.
