When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A doctor or nurse. I really wanted to help people feel better and be able to lead healthy lives.
What was your senior quote in your high school yearbook?
“I don’t know what my future holds, but I do know who holds my future.” – Tim Tebow
What is your favorite hobby?
Painting. Creating different pieces for my friends or my room to decorate is something that I really enjoy.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Go on a Pink Jeep Tour in Sedona, Ariz.
What’s one thing you can’t live without?
Nail polish. I almost always have my nails painted and can’t go anywhere without it.
Who’s your favorite athlete?
Saquon Barkley. Seeing a college athlete be an impact player for an NFL team in his rookie season is just a testament to how hard he works.
What type of animal would best describe your style of play?
Bulldog! I’m loud and like to have a presence on the field.
What’s been the proudest moment of your career?
Winning the 2018 national championship [with James Madison] has been the proudest moment of my career so far. Experiencing that environment with my teammates and coaches was unparalleled to anything I have ever felt in life. There is something to be said for making it as far as a team could possibly go and winning it all.
What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome?
Having two hip surgeries within 16 months. Learning to change my ready position and even the way that I save low shots was very difficult to implement. Having a caring and understanding support staff at JMU made this less of a challenge my first year in college.

What is your go-to movie snack?
Barbeque potato chips.
DOUBLE OVERTIME (from JMU alum Elena Romesburg)

My favorite hobbit is the real-life Frodo: Elena Romesburg. She’s small and likes mythical things.
