LOS ANGELES, CA. — Today, The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced that Tim Soudan will become the new Head Coach of Chrome LC, effective immediately.
Soudan most recently served as Head Coach of the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse from 2011 to 2017, winning the league’s Coach of the Year Award in 2014. Soudan began his coaching tenure after a distinguished playing career in both outdoor and indoor lacrosse. Noted as one of the finest players in history, Soudan played the indoor game for over fourteen years and was inducted into the Rochester Knighthawks (MILL/NLL) Hall of Fame in 2009. In the outdoor game, Soudan represented his country at the World Lacrosse Championships in both 1994 and 1998 and propelled Team USA to the title both years.
“I couldn't be more excited to take on this challenge,” says Soudan. “The PLL has brought so much excitement to the sport of lacrosse and I am driven to coach at the highest level. Many thanks to the people that have made this a reality. I am itching to get started shaping a championship-caliber staff and roster in the months to come. My focus will be 100% culture and talent, when those two things come together you have a team that is hard to beat.”
“We are thrilled to have Tim take charge of Chrome LC for the long-term,” says Premier Lacrosse League Co-Founder and CEO Mike Rabil. “Tim has a distinguished history of developing the best lacrosse players in the professional field and we look forward to seeing the work he will do with this talented Chrome LC roster heading into the 2020 season."
