We’ll spend little time covering Le Moyne in this week’s rankings — but not for a lack of attention. The Dolphins came back to beat No. 3 Mercy on Saturday, shutting out the Mavericks en route to a third-straight top 10 win to start the year.
Outside of the nation’s top team, Wingate proved its quality with an impressive 11-10 victory over a hot Limestone team. Willie Grieco scored the game-winning goal with 3:11 remaining to help the Bulldogs score a big South Atlantic Conference win.
New to the rankings is a Lake Erie team that has endured an up and down 2022 season to date, but it took down Frostburg and Lewis in back-to-back weeks to enter the Top 20.
Plenty of heavyweight battles have passed, and the top teams have held their ground thus far.

HOT
Wingate (+1)
The Bulldogs have responded well since falling to Le Moyne at Homewood Field two weeks ago. Wingate rattled off consecutive wins over Mount Olive (15-8) and Limestone (11-10) to get the season back on track. Willie Grieco had nine goals and four assists in the two-game streak.
NOT
Mount Olive (-4)
The Trojans have faced two ranked opponents so far this season and have lost by a combined 17 goals. A win over Rockhurst on February 26 is a quality one, but Mount Olive is averaging seven goals per game in those two defeats.
NEW
Lake Erie (No. 19)
The Storm suffered back-to-back losses to UIndy and Maryville to open the year, but given the results of both teams, neither look bad in retrospect. Lake Erie now owns wins over then-ranked Frostburg and No. 20 Lewis, averaging 13.5 goals per game in those victories. Dawson Kindall leads the way with 10 goals and five assists.
OUT
Seton Hill (was No. 19)
A team traditionally in the top 10 of Division II, Seton Hill now sits at 3-3 after falling to Florida Tech on Saturday. After dropping 22 goals in a victory over Wheeling, the Griffins had just one goal in the first half of the loss to Florida Tech.
