With defending champion and last week’s No. 1 team Lindenwood losing its first game of the year, there’s a new name at the top for the first time this year in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II Women’s Top 20.
The undefeated UIndy Greyhounds, 4-0 overall following wins over No. 9 Grand Valley State and Davenport last week, are the new top dogs but will get an immediate test with a visit to No. 2 Le Moyne this week.
The Dolphins bested Lindenwood 18-13 last week, as senior Jessica Meneilly poured in a career-high seven goals on seven shots, and midfielder Adrianna Nojaim collected a career-high 12 draw controls. Le Moyne has a chance to accomplish a rare double-dip this week with back-to-back wins over No. 1 teams.
Other games to watch this week include a pair of contests involving perennial power Adelphi. The No. 14 Panthers visit both No. 13 Mercy and No. 5 West Chester in a span of four days.

Embry-Riddle (+4)
The Eagles are off to the best start in program history, improving to 5-0 following Saturday’s 15-13 victory over then-No. 11 Seton Hill. Murphy McDonough led the way for Embry-Riddle with eight points on four goals and four assists in the win, with Sallie Squire also adding four goals.
Florida Southern (+2)
The Mocs rebounded well following their loss to No. 3 Queens, picking up a pair of non-conference wins over Findlay and Mount Olive last week. FSC is in the midst of a season-opening stretch of seven straight home games and won’t leave the confines of Berend Field for the first time until venturing to Ohio for a two-game swing in late March.

Roberts Wesleyan (-5)
Coming off last year’s final four run, the Redhawks are still figuring out how all the pieces fit together this year. A two-game weekend road trip started well with an 18-1 win at St. Michael’s, but ended in disappointment with a 14-13 loss at Southern New Hampshire, despite seven goals by Madison Bell.
Seton Hill (-4)
A three-game swing through Florida didn’t start well for the Griffins, losing 15-13 at Embry-Riddle on Saturday. Seton Hill continues its trip with games against Concordia-St. Paul and St. Leo this week before returning home for its PSAC opener against IUP on March 16.

Southern New Hampshire (No. 20)
It was a notable coaching debut for Carissa Medeiros, who saw her Southern New Hampshire squad take down No. 7 Roberts Wesleyan 14-13 at home to celebrate its first win over a ranked opponent since 2016. With the score tied at 10 early in the final quarter, SNHU tallied four straight goals over a four-minute span to build its biggest lead and then withstood a late charge from the Redhawks.

Limestone (was No. 19)
The Saints have hit a rough patch and tumble out of the ranking after being at No. 10 just two weeks ago. Limestone dropped its third straight game, falling 12-11 at Wingate last Saturday. Wingate tallied the game-winner on a free position goal with no time left on the clock.
