The US Lacrosse Players of the Week recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.
Players of the Week from the Northeast will be announced once play begins in the region.

Weisshaar helped Spalding to a big out-of-state win to highlight its 3-0 start. The Towson-committed junior midfielder may not be the biggest player, but he stood out with three goals and three assists in a 12-10 win over Pennsylvania power and Mid-Atlantic Preseason No. 4 Malvern Prep (Pa.) on March 20. Weisshaar also scored seven goals and added two assists to pace the offense as Spalding followed up with a 13-5 win over Severn on March 23.
