The USA Lacrosse Players of the Week recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.
This week, we honor the top performances from the South and West Regions. Next week, we will add the Mid-Atlantic before the remaining regions are added the following week.
SOUTH
McAllister Hobbs, Dallas Jesuit (Texas)
Facing one of the region’s top teams, McAllister Hobbs shined, scoring six goals on March 12 against St. Andrew’s (Fla.). Hobbs added a hat trick in a win over Coppell two days earlier. Hobbs is committed to join Penn State next season.
