Agnes Irwin (Pa.) Goes Unranked to Top 10 in Nike/USAL HS Girls' National Top 25
Early season games can cause major moves, and that was certainly the case in the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25 this week.
Agnes Irwin (Pa.) moved from unranked into the top 10 on the strength of a hard-fought win over highly regarded Archbishop Carroll (Pa.), highlighting one of the biggest shifts of the past week.
The stalwarts of the Top 25 have largely dominated, as the first nine teams have just one loss between them.
Agnes Irwin is joined in the Top 25 by fellow newcomers Greenwich (Conn.) which won a pair of tournament games, and Episcopal Academy (Pa.) which has come on strong with a win over Stone Ridge (Md.).
