Championships Shuffle Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls' National Top 25
The first five teams remain in place with Northeast unbeatens Darien (Conn.) and Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.) bookending a trio of IAAM A Conference powers in the latest Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25.
McDonogh (Md.) solidified its No. 2 spot with a convincing win over No. 3 St. Paul’s (Md.) in the IAAM A championship game.
A significant win by Archbishop Carroll (Pa.), plus New Canaan (Conn.) taking a victory over Wilton (Conn.), shuffled the Top 10 further. Wantagh (N.Y.) slipped into the second 10 in the rankings after its third loss of the year.
The final two spots in the Top 25 go to a pair of teams making their first appearances in the rankings this year. Greenwich Academy (Conn.) and Manchester Valley (Md.), which rolled in its region playoff opener to remain unbeaten, are newcomers.
