With Season in Final Stretch, 3 New Teams Enter High School Girls' Top 25
All the movement in the latest Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25 came in the final eight spots.
Losses by North Shore (N.Y.), Manhasset (N.Y.) and Northport (N.Y.) paved the way for replacements. Victor (N.Y.) made a little jump after securing a state semifinal berth.
Newcomers Baldwinsville (N.Y.) and Massapequa (N.Y.) also earned state semifinal berths with wins that elevated them into the rankings. Oak Knoll (N.J.) started its state tournament after picking up momentum with wins over a trio of good teams, bringing about a return to the Top 25.
State tournament contenders will try to bump up a few more spots with wins at the most important time of year. With three regions still in action, the final rankings are not set.
