The USA Lacrosse Players of the Week recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school girls’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage. Games are considered from the previous Monday through Sunday.

NORTHEAST

Addie Pattillo, Wilton (Conn.)

How did Addie Pattillo impact a 10-7 win for Wilton (Conn.) over West Islip (N.Y.)? Let us count the ways.

The North Carolina-bound senior had four goals, three assists and seven draw controls to help lead the Warriors to a fourth straight win. Pattillo also had five goals, four assists and five draw controls in a 19-3 win over St. Joseph (Conn.).

“Addie does an incredible job as a leader on this team,” Wilton head coach Merri Meyran said. “Her speed between the lines and on the draw is unmatched and she raises the level of play of everyone around her. Addie’s countless hustle plays are a huge part of our team’s success.”

MID-ATLANTIC

Sienna Chirieleison, Trinity (Pa.)

It’s customary to spread out the Player of the Week award, and so earning it twice in a season is uncommon. Winning it in back-to-back weeks takes something extraordinary, but that’s the sort of performance Chirieleison gave in two games last week. The Syracuse commit scored 14 goals and had an assist in a 17-14 win at State College (Pa.). She also had eight draw controls, eight ground balls and four caused turnovers.

The junior midfielder came up big again later in the week in an historic win for Trinity. Chirieleison scored five goals, won six draws, had five ground balls and caused three turnovers as the Shamrocks defeated Cumberland Valley (Pa.) 10-9 for the first time in program history. She now has 81 goals, 73 draws, 72 ground balls and 64 caused turnovers this season. Trinity has won five straight games. Chirieleison also competes for the USA Lacrosse U18 Select Team.

SOUTH

Bo Rosato, Bishop England (S.C.)

It was a state championship performance to remember as Bo Rosato lifted perennial favorite Bishop England to another title. In last week’s state title win over Riverside (S.C.), the senior attacker scored six times and added three assists. In the state semifinals versus Oceanside Collegiate Academy (S.C.), she had a four-goal, three-assist effort. The championship capped off a 57-goal, 54-assist undefeated season for Rosato. She is committed to Johns Hopkins.

Against last year’s Division II state champion, Bishop Watterson, Simpson had 13 saves and two ground balls to lead her team to a 9-8 victory. In an 11-8 win over Cincinnati Mariemont, a district runner-up last year, Simpson had 12 saves, stopping three free-position shots in the final three minutes.
