Dialed In: Your Lacrosse Fix for Thursday, July 27
Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The 2023 Senior All-America Lacrosse Games are Friday.
The 18th annual games, hosted by Corrigan Sports Enterprises, are July 29 at Johns Hopkins’ Homewood Field. The games will also air live on ESPNU, with the girls’ game beginning at 5:30 p.m. Eastern ahd the boys’ game immediately following at 8 p.m.
The boys’ and girls’ teams will be split between the North and South, with Inside Lacrosse collaborating with Corrigan to choose the participants.

2. Tragic news out of Massachusetts.
Sadie Mauro, a 17-year-old lacrosse player at Dover-Sherborn High School, was killed Friday night in a boating accident in Cape Cod. Six others were aboard the vessel, and a 17-year-old boy was taken to a local hospital for a head injury.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is still active.
Mauro was a rising senior in high school and hoped to play college lacrosse.
