Every Tuesday during the high school lacrosse season, USA Lacrosse updates Regional Top 10 and National Top 25 rankings to reflect the results of the previous week. Below are the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ Regional Top 10 updates through games played May 7.

St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) remains atop the Northeast Region rankings on the strength of an impressive schedule that it had been through untarnished until a road game at Haverford (Pa.) finally caught up with them. Manhasset (N.Y.) has a chance to leapfrog based on how the two compete with Chaminade (N.Y.), which fell a spot after a head-scratching loss. Darien (Conn.) re-enters the rankings after topping ranked Wilton (Conn.) in a budding hot streak, and a winning stretch by Connetquot (N.Y.) earned the T-Birds the final spot.

The top five remain in place in the Mid-Atlantic Region with Lawrenceville (N.J.) holding off McDonogh (Md.) for the top spot. The Eagles, Haverford, Georgetown Prep (Md.) and St. John’s (D.C.) all have top seeds in their leagues and targets as they try to secure titles. A big win by St. Mary’s (Md.) helped them jump to sixth, and Calvert Hall (Md.) climbed into the Top 10 thanks to a strong run in the MIAA. Seton Hall (N.J.) won a close game to remain unbeaten, the only unblemished team in the Top 10.

Lake Mary (Fla.) finished off a perfect season with their first state title to pace the South Region. St. Andrew’s (Fla.) was also crowned a champion. Others in the region are hoping for the same results in their states. Claiming gold would go a long way toward securing their high rankings.

Culver (Ind.) needed overtime to capture the MSLA championship and retain its top spot in the Midwest Region. The top eight teams remain the same. Rockhurst Jesuit (Kan.) kept a perfect record going to move up a spot, while Wheaton Academy (Ill.) made its rankings debut with just one loss in its first 15 games.

Regis Jesuit (Colo.) made a huge jump in the West Region. The new No. 3 picked up huge wins over former top five teams to make its case to climb out of the unranked masses. A playoff win by Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) enabled them to move up, and it dropped Mater Dei (Calif.) several spots. Playoff action presents the chance for others to validate and improve their rankings.
