LI Playoffs Shuffle Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Top 25
Shoreham-Wading River (N.Y.) topped previously unbeaten Mount Sinai (N.Y.), causing a ripple effect in the latest Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25.
Manhasset (N.Y.) moved up as the hottest team still playing, with Long Island championships further shuffling the Top 25. Radnor (Pa.) couldn’t hold off Springfield-Delco (Pa.) in its district final, and that also allowed for some minor movements. Shoreham-Wading River comes in ahead of both Mount Sinai and Radnor.
The only new team to enter the rankings this week is New Canaan (Conn.), which did so on the strength of knocking Wilton (Conn.) out of the state tournament in their rematch. That earned the Rams a spot at No. 24.
Ongoing state tournament action in a few regions means the rankings may not be finalized for at least another week.
