St. Anthony's Slips, Lawrenceville No. 1 in Nike/USAL Boys' National Top 25

Haverford’s one-goal win over former No. 1 St. Anthony’s caused a significant change at the top of the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25.
The Friars’ first loss of the season opened the door for a few teams behind them with Lawrenceville (N.J.) claiming the No. 1 spot having already defeated two of the top six teams this year.
McDonogh (Md.), which defeated Haverford earlier this year, moves up to No. 2 after remaining in the top spot in the nation’s toughest conference. Along with unbeaten Manhasset (N.Y.), St. Anthony’s remains ahead of Culver (Ind.), which it handled earlier.
The movements were not restricted to just the top echelon. Calvert Hall (Md.) took advantage of others’ inconsistencies and rode its hot streak in the MIAA A Conference to No. 14, while its conference brethren shuffled spots heading into the final regular-season games.
Three new teams entered the Top 25. Connetquot (N.Y.) has just two losses and has played a little better each week. Salesianum (Del.) picked up an impressive win over Malvern (Pa.). Farmingdale (N.Y.) is another Northeast Region team that has picked up steam to move into the rankings.
Florida teams have already completed their seasons, and playoffs are lining up to give every contender a shot to impress.
