Maryland '13Three-time U.S. team player brings calming influence.
Jesse Bernhardt, playing on his third U.S. team in a world championship event, is one of the leaders of the 2023 U.S. men's team. A collegiate coach at the University of Maryland, Bernhardt has played at the highest levels of the game for the last decade.
An All-American at the University of Maryland, Bernhardt joined Major League Lacrosse in 2013, helping the Bayhawks win two league championships. Since 2020, he has played with Chrome LC in the Premier Lacrosse League.
His brother, Jake, was a teammate with him on the gold-medal winning 2018 U.S. team, and their younger brother, Jared, won gold with the 2016 U.S. U19 team.
