Matt Rambo has become a fan favorite in the PLL for his candid and humorous takes whenever he's mic'ed up. More importantly, he's one of the best attackers in the sport.
Rambo helped ended Maryland's 42-year title drought when he won the Tewaaraton Award after leading the Terps to the 2017 NCAA championship.
More championships followed. After playing two years with the Charlotte Hounds in the MLL, Rambo was the PLL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year in helping the Whipsnakes win the inaugral league championship in 2019. In the COVID-shortened PLL Championship Series in 2020, Rambo again led the Whipsnakes to the title with league-leading totals of 18 assists and 25 points.
Rambo has also played four seasons with his hometown Philadelphia Wings in the NLL, topping 50 points in three of his four seasons. He played on the 2019 U.S. box team, winning a bronze medal.
