After helping the U.S. U19 team to a gold medal in 2016 as an assistant coach, Pat Myers is back for another run coaching alongside his brother, U.S. head coach Nick Myers. The U.S. is set to compete in the 2022 World Lacrosse Men's U21 World Championship in Limerick, Ireland.
Myers has been the head coach at Lafayette since 2019 and is coming off of a four-win season, equaling the program's best total in over a decade, including a memorable win over Drexel and the Leopards' first Patriot League win since 2017.
After leading the U.S. U19 team to a thrilling gold medal in 2016, Nick Myers is back for another stint leading the USA. After two postponements, Myers will be the head coach for the U.S. U21 team at the 2022 World Lacrosse Men's U19 World Championship in Limerick, Ireland.
Chambers was one of the Naval Academy's greatest lacrosse players. In his first year at Navy, he was selected as a first team All-American. In his sophomore year, he was a second team All-American, only to return in his junior and senior years to be selected as a first team All-American. In 1949, he won both the Jack Turnbull Trophy and the U.S. Naval Academy Association Trophy for the outstanding athlete in his class.
