A wizard with the stick ... and his feet

Michael Sowers is a matchup nightmare and the U.S. team plans to use him as a weapon all over the field. Whether its coming out of the box or dishing from X, Sowers will be a key cog of the U.S. offense. It won't be the first time he's played that role for a U.S. team. Sowers led the 2016 U.S. U19 team to a gold medal with a team-high 11 assists and was tied for the team lead with 22 points, earning him all-world recognition.

Captain America

The Canadian media coined Tom Schreiber as "Captain America" after his successful debut with the NLL's Toronto Rock, but he really is a captain of this U.S. team, sharing the honor alongside Jesse Bernhardt and Michael Ehrhardt.

A defender with edge

Jack Rowlett plays the game with full intensity and makes his presence known on the defensive side of the ball. A gold medal winner with the U.S. U19 team in 2016, Rowlett is now ready to shine on the senior team level.

2016 was a magical year for Rowlett as he started as a freshman at North Carolina, helping the Tar Heels win a national championship ahead of his USA world championship. He finished his Carolina career as a four-year starter and twice earned All-America honors.

A coach on the field

One of the more experienced players on the team, Jake Richard is literally a coach on the field. Richard has coached at his alma mater, Marquette, the last seven seasons and is currently the school's defensive coordinator.

Richard is one of four defensive midfielders on the team and will be a key glue guy as the U.S. aims to retain its world championship. Richard was a member of the U.S. training team in 2018 and is ready to wear the red, white and blue against international competition.

Big personality, bigger producer

Matt Rambo has become a fan favorite in the PLL for his candid and humorous takes whenever he's mic'ed up. More importantly, he's one of the best attackers in the sport.

Rambo helped ended Maryland's 42-year title drought when he won the Tewaaraton Award after leading the Terps to the 2017 NCAA championship.

A veteran leader and prolific scorer

Pannell, one of two three-time national team players on this year's U.S. team, is a tri-captain alongside Jesse Bernhardt and Michael Ehrhardt. Pannell has experienced the pain of losing in the gold medal match along with the elation of triumph and that experience will be counted on heavily by the coaching staff.

Often overlooked, Kieran McArdle is getting his due

Lightly recruited out of high school, Kieran McArdle seized his opportunity at St. John's by rewriting the school's record book. He was a three-time All-American and became to the first player in St. John's history to top 100 goals, 100 assists and 200 points.

He was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 MLL Draft and set league rookie records for goals (34) and points (49) in a season, earning rookie of the year honors with the launch. He went on to be a three-time MLL All-Star.
