A hard-nosed warrior

Ryan Terefenko got exposed to the U.S. team system through his college coach, Nick Myers, who served as the coach of the 2016 and 2022 U.S. U19/U21 teams. Now he's ready to suit up for real for the USA. One of the top defensive midfielders in the sport, Terefenko is set to play a critical role for the U.S. team.

Terefenko was Ohio State's first four-time USILA All-American and his success has translated to the pro game. He was rated as the No. 26 player in the league by his peers after the 2022 season and was named to the all-star game.

Charlie Bertrand is one of the emerging stars in the sport.

The lone small college player on the U.S. team roster, Bertrand led Merrimack to consecutive NCAA Division II championships in 2018 and 2019. He made it three straight collegiate championships when he scored 26 goals to help Virginia to the 2021 NCAA Division I championship as a grad transfer.

Bertrand has carried that success over to the professional level. He scored 18 goals in 10 games for the PLL's Redwoods in 2022 and has also earned a key role in the NLL.

The comeback kid.

Jack Kelly has learned a thing or two about patience in his career. He's also learned about perseverance.

In high school, he played behind eventual Duke star Kyle Turri at West Islip (N.Y.) and didn't start until his senior year when he helped the school win a state championship. He found his way to Brown where he was a two-year captain and one of the key cogs on the Bears' 2016 final four team as the nation's top goalie.
